THE FRENCH DOCTORS is a collective of live improvised music founded by 5 French musicians imbued with complementary energies and attitudes. Their connections and friendships have crossed paths many times in studios or on stage until they gathered as the first French incarnation of Damo Suzuki Network at the Café de la Danse in 2003. The following year, the French Doctors recorded several hours of music while in residence at Instants Chavirés. Stuck in a time warp for nearly seven years, those lost tapes eventually cropped up and soon took the shape (materialized as) of an LP « Au chevet des blessés ». "Ultra-tight explosive free-rock, notruling out silence as a playmate"
